Graeme M. Keith

Chairman


Graeme M. Keith is Chairman of  The Keith  Corporation (TKC). Before founding TKC with his son in 1989, Mr. Keith held executive ­positions in the banking and financial services ­industry, including Chairman and CEO of Barclays American Corporation, Vice­ Chairman of First ­Railroad & ­Banking Company, and President of the Georgia Railroad Bank & Trust Company.  He also served in North Carolina as Regional Executive Vice President of First Union Corporation. 

Mr. Keith serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Communities in Schools of North ­Carolina, a Trustee of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and a board member of the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, The Good Fellows Club, Samaritans Purse and the Billy ­Graham ­Evangelistic Association.  He is an Elder at Myers Park Presbyterian Church.       

He has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Davidson College, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the Arts and Science Council of Charlotte and the Foundation of the Carolinas.

Mr. Keith earned a degree in business administration from Davidson College and served as an officer in the United States Army upon graduation.

Greg Keith is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Keith Corporation (TKC), which was founded by he and his father in 1989. Mr. Keith’s 26-year real estate development career has afforded him the experience of developing, leasing and managing 12 ­million square feet of office, industrial and retail space, which is ­valued at $950 million.

Mr. Keith has served as a board member, director or chairman for more than 15 organizations, including the Charlotte Metro YMCA and Wake Forest University’s Divinity School, Law School, and Deacon Club Boards. He is also involved in various youth ministries and is an active member, serving in numerous capacities, at Myers Park Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Keith earned a bachelor's degree in business and a law degree from Wake Forest University.
